Elizabeth Jones is the founder and principal designer of L. Alden Designs, LLC, a full-service interior design studio specializing in sophisticated, family-friendly homes.

  A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of the Arts, Elizabeth blends formal design training with a thoughtful understanding of how families live and gather in their homes.

Elizabeth believes a well-designed home should feel both elevated and comfortable, balancing beauty with ease. Known for her love of vibrant color, florals, fine art and layered textiles, she creates interiors that feel timeless, personal, and warmly inviting rather than overly formal. Her work spans kitchens, living and dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, family rooms, and play spaces—each designed to support everyday life while maintaining a refined aesthetic.

Collaboration is central to Elizabeth’s process. She partners closely with her clients to understand their routines, values, and personal style, translating those details into spaces that feel sophisticated yet livable.
